Project Involvement: Pricklypixel was called in to animate all the characters and cameras for the sequence. We were given freedom with composition of shots that were then fine tuned by the Creative Director of the studio.

Project Involvement: Plastic wax contracted Pricklypixel to animate Optimus Prime and camera to pitch for creating the in-game cut-scenes for the Transformers 2 game. The pitch was so successful that it was modified into what is shown and used as a TV spot during the 2009 Superbowl.

Project Involvement: Marks Sydney approached Pricklypixel to develop and animate the characters for a new web strategy that was trialled by Optus. Optus was looking into further developing its brand image of the live animals into a more comic humanised set of characters.
Pricklypixel designed, built, rigged, and animated the characters to be composited on backgrounds created by the client.

Project Involvement: Pricklypixel created levels characters and props for an unpublished game developed by Microforté. One set of assets comprised of four distinct robot walkers with different limb & weapon configurations.
A special rig was developed that could be used to animate all of the classes within one file. This saved on the animation memory footprint giving us more memory to work with. The robots were a popular addition with the focus groups.

A complex facial rig made up of Joints enabled the character to have a very high amount of subtle control of which would not have been able to achieve in a real-time frame work with Morphs.
In addition a set of animations were created from provided voice over for marketing purposes.

Project Involvement: The three partners at pricklypixel were heavily involved with the development of this trailer, from establishing the pipelines for the character construction and animation to developing the pipeline used for the environment construction.
The partners were involved in managing the motion capture sessions and finally implementing and animating shots all while managing a team of character artists and animators to meet with the directors demands.

This project required 8 animated dioramas viewable in a browser based realtime engine, to illustrate key events in the landing of Gallipoli. Our experience with realtime assets pipelines and their limitations was a perfect match for the job.
pricklypixel built 6 characters and 8 dioramas, each with a varity of props and vegetation.
Each of the 8 Dioramas were dressed by Pricklypixel and all characters posed in a 'snap shot' depicting the actions of the moment, explained by a narrator.

Project Involvement: ZacToons approached Pricklypixel to create a 3 minute animated video game satire based on a their script and storyboards to fit within a 30 minute animated satire series that they were developing as a pitch.
pricklypixel designed, built, rigged, animated and rendered all the assets for this sequence which was delivered to the client on time and beyond their expectations.
Project Duration: 6 Weeks
Project Involvement: While working for Babyfoot a number of shots were created for very quick turn around TV commercials. the scene with the baby was required to be recreated in 3D due to the live action footage not conveying the desired feeling.
The baby was modified from a stock model to match the live action baby and then textured, rigged and animated within 2 days. In addition other CG elements were created and animated throughout the 30 second commercial to enhance reality. these include all the sunflowers, grass and snowflakes.

Project Involvement: Pricklypixel was contracted to build the environment for this TVC including all buildings apart from the 'Tokyo Tower'. The job was completed ahead of schedule.

Project Involvement: Pricklypixel created all the foliage and prop assets for the 2008 Wii title 'Koh Lanta'.

Project Involvement: Pricklypixel created 4 separate comical bug splats on a windscreen using a 3D bug that was built using sketches provided by the client and referance found online.

Project Involvement: The bear was rigged and animated for Babyfoot as a pitch for the TVC, to show that a realistic bear could be reproduced on a live action background. The pitch was a success!
